As Managing Director, John is responsible for co-ordinating corporate, organisational and clinical matters. Qualified in Radiography DCR(R) in 1979 John was the first NHS Radiographer to be involved shockwave applications and played a key role in commissioning and operating the UK's first dedicated stone and ESWL centre at St Thomas' Hospital. Since this time John has continued to lead innovation in the use of shockwave therapy for medical applications. John continued to develop his career and was Medical services Director for United Medical Systems before forming Impact Medical with the other directors in 2000.
As Finance Director, Allan coordinates and oversees the company's accounting and financial matters, Allan qualified in Radiography with a BSc (hons). In addition to his clinical expertise in this field, Allan also utilises his HNC/ONC in electronic engineering as Senior Technical Officer and unit-manager, he is responsible for overseeing our engineering support staff, to ensure that all of our equipment is reliable, safe and effective.
Medical Services Director
As Medical Services Director Kevin is responsible for all clinical, training and customer support. He qualified in Radiography (DCR) in 1991 following a career in the electronics industry. As the first UK Radiographer to regularly perform Orthopaedic and soft tissue treatments (ESWT), he is acknowledged by many as a leading ESWT practitioner. Kevin was a co-author of the first peer reviewed article following clinical trials to evaluate ESWT in the treatment of Peyronie's disease. An active member of ISMST, Kevin has presented at international meetings and has strong links with international experts.
As Operations Director Paul co-ordinates the technical, logistical and operational aspects of the business. He gained a BSc in Health Studies in 1998 and also has responsibility as Radiation Supervisor, to ensure compliance and safe operation of our X-ray units.
Qualified as a Radiographer DCR(R) in 1983 Paul joined United Medical Systems in 1993, pioneering the introduction of 'in-house' mobile ESWL services.
